Ingredients  

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp sake
  • 3 tbsp mirin
  • 1 ½ tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • ¼ tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp ginger root grated
  • 1 clove garlic grated
  • ¼ yellow onion(s) grated
  • 1 tbsp grated apple
  • ½ tsp chili powder I used cayenne pepper powder
  • tsp white pepper powder
  • ½ tbsp sesame oil
  • ½ tbsp white sesame seeds

Instructions 

  • Measure out all of the ingredients into a small saucepan. Place the pan on the stove and heat on low-medium/low.
  • Simmer for 2-3 minutes while stirring continuously, then remove from the heat.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Store in a clean sterilized jar in the refrigerator and consume within 5 days.
