Yakisoba sauce is a tangy, savory sauce used to flavour delicious Japanese fried noodles. While it's common to buy the sauce premade, with just a few condiments you probably already have in your cupboard, you can whip up your own tasty homemade yakisoba sauce in just a few minutes!

Add 1 tbsp oyster sauce, 1 tbsp soy sauce, ½ tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp tomato ketchup, ½ tbsp sake, ½ tsp sugar, 1 pinch ground black pepper and 1 tsp sesame oil to a small bowl and mix thoroughly.
Feel free to adjust ingredient quantities to suit your preference. Use to stir fry with noodles, vegetables and meat. You can see the full yakisobe recipe here.
Notes
You can adjust the ratio of the ingredients to suit your taste for example, more soy sauce makes it thinner and saltier, more ketchup makes it sweeter and the color becomes more red etc. Feel free to experiment! This sauce is to cook together with the noodles, meat and vegetables. I wouldn't recommend using it cold and uncooked because it contains sake which is alcohol.
