what you'll need:

» Soy sauce » Mirin » Sugar » Honey » Grated ginger » Grated Garlic » Sesame oil » Sesame seeds » Chilli powder » Black pepper

what you'll need:

» Thinly sliced beef » Cooked rice » Spring onion (optional) » Egg (optional)

Make yakiniku sauce

Take a small bowl and add soy sauce, mirin, sugar, honey, grated ginger, grated garlic, sesame oil, sesame seeds, chilli powder and black pepper. Mix well.

Seal beef

Heat the pan on medium. Once hot, add a drizzle of oil and the beef. Fry and seal on both sides.

Add sauce

Increase the heat to high and add the sauce. Stir fry for 1 minute 30 seconds.

Remove from  the heat

Remove the pan from the heat and divide the rice into bowls.

Assemble

Arrange the beef on top of the rice and drizzle with the sauce leftover in the pan.

Garnish

Top the beef with a sprinkle of chopped spring onions and an egg cooked to your preference. (Optional) Enjoy!
