what you'll need:

» dry spaghetti » water » salt » baking soda

Boil a pot of water

Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil and add salt. (Make sure there is 1 litre of water for every 100g of pasta.)


Add baking soda and pasta

Add the baking soda and mix until it has dissolved. Then, add the pasta and boil for 2 minutes longer than the time stated on the packaging.


Drain and serve

Drain the water and wash the noodles with fresh hot water. Use them in your favourite ramen dishes!  Read on to see a few suggestions!
