what you'll need:

» White toasted sesame seeds » Japanese mayonnaise » Rice Vinegar » Sugar » Soy sauce » Sesame oil

Add to pan

Add the sesame seeds to a cold dry frying pan. (I don't recommend non-stick as the seeds might damage the coating.)

1

Toast

Heat on medium high and toast until golden brown and fragrant. Swirl the pan around frequently to ensure even toasting.

2

Grind

Grind the sesame seeds to a fine powder using a mortar and pestle. (Use a food processor for large batches.)

3

Add condiments

Transfer to a mixing bowl and add mayo, rice vinegar, sugar, soy sauce and sesame oil.

4

Mix and serve

Mix until all the ingredients are evenly distributed. Serve over your favorite salad or store in the fridge!
